RoadsIS - free software
So, I have talked to many of you at the conference regarding how I use the RoadsIS software to enter all of my employee's timesheets that allows me to complete my finance report at the end of the year so easily; some of you have borrowed the software and some may have not but were interested in getting it.
The zip drive link is below and I have attached some files that include the software review that she did along with some reports and a screen shot of the software so that you can make a decision on if this is something you want; I have also attached my word document for the timesheets and the form I use to balance my reports every month along with samples of mine filled out.
It certainly will take some time setting it all up, but I can tell you, in my opinion, it's well worth the time! You can have reports on how much time and cost for each department such as snow removal, culvert maintenance, road maintenance etc that includes employee costs, materials, fuel etc.; if you have a large project, you can give it a number so that you can instantly have the total cost of the project at your fingertips.
